Online mentoring starts October 2026

Our free Online Mentoring Programme returns in October 2026, with weekly one-to-one STEM, IT and English support from volunteer mentors through to March.

Our Online Mentoring Programme returns in October 2026. Young people from refugee, asylum-seeking and forced-migrant backgrounds are paired with a volunteer mentor for free weekly sessions, running from October through to March.

What mentoring covers

STEM, IT and English support tailored to each student
Homework and coursework help alongside longer-term skills
CVs, cover letters and university applications
Mock interviews, including for medical school and Oxbridge

Sessions are one-to-one or in small groups, and take place online.

Summer School 2026 at UCL has now finished. Thank you to every student, volunteer and supporter who took part. Keep an eye out for Summer School 2027; dates and applications will be announced on our apply to our programme page.
